Who is Bruno?
Real estate is the foundation. People are the constant.
Bruno’s path has crossed real estate investing, brokerage, lending, insurance, education, technology and entrepreneurship. The common thread is not a title. It is understanding the problem, connecting the dots and helping people move forward.
Bruno grew up in Portugal in a modest family where adapting to circumstances started early. Basketball became his first serious ambition, until injuries gradually took away the future he thought he was building. That forced his first reinvention. Around 1998, with almost no professional technology experience, he joined Infor-Hobby, grew from intern to technician and was later offered a partnership in a new branch.
In 2001, he moved to the United States to be with his father, who had been living here since 1991. Starting over was not simple. By 2004, another major accident, job loss and growing physical limitations forced yet another reset. That search eventually led to real estate and to a mentor willing to give him a chance after Bruno drove more than seven hours just to show up.
What followed became more than twenty years across investing, lending, brokerage, education, technology and entrepreneurship. The successes shaped him. So did grief, chronic pain, depression and rebuilding. ConnectWithBruno exists to make that experience useful.

Grief, chronic pain and depression changed more than how I felt. They affected work, money, relationships, confidence and the way I understood rebuilding.
This is not mental-health advice and it is not a success story told from a perfect finish line. It is a personal reflection on losing ground, asking for help and learning how to keep moving when life no longer looks the way you expected.
